Anyone know any old 80's thrash metal songs from Megadeth, Testament, Metallica, Exodus, Heathen, etc. that is fairly easy? I've only been playing 1 1/2 yrs. so I'm no guitar god. I want something that I can play all the way through, solo included. Please no shredding solos unless its REALLY easy. Thanks all.

sad but true or fuel by metallica. Also Reckoning day by megadeth, or you could try doing victory - the solo may sound and look hard on paper but its really just a few simple patterns

Yeah this is a good one. It's not all that hard, if you learn it one riff at a time you're get quite far (but I'd leave out the solo )

Whiplash is pretty simple, the solo is pretty much pentatonic wank, you should get it, you might have to challenge yourself, but that's a good thing.
