It makes a wicked buzz when I touch it and everything is grounded. What could be the problem?

when you touch the pot or the knob? If you touch the pot, it will buzz regardless. if your knob buzzes and gets hot, it could just be a poor soldering job.

do u have a metal knob? then u dont have the pot case grounded.

its eather a bad ground in your guitar or amp.
