So in music which songs do you reckon have the best Crescendos? As for me i have to say one of my favourites is in Take On Me by A-Ha. When he is building up and just hits that high E so beautifully during the chorus.

What about you?

I live by the method: 3 or less orange warning labels, and it's safe as a kitten

EDIT: Sammcl pretty much got it dead on.
They are really long, but I guess they could still be considered crescendos. November Rain from when it fades out the piano/synth and leads right up to the solo, and One going from the last chorus all the way up to the machine gun drums and the speed riffs.
Funky monks by RHCP right when he hits the second solo.....really cool
Listens to Jazz

Night And The Silent Water by Opeth, in the end of it.
"A war is coming, I've seen it in my dreams. Fires sweeping through the earth, bodies in the streets, cities turned to dust. Retaliation..."
