1)I Could Have Lied --RHCP
2)Stranger Things Have Happened-- Foo Fighters

Almost every song off the recent charity gig Metallica did. Beautiful as well, seriously, it's really good.

They covered Dire Straits, Garbage, Blue Oyster Cult and quite a few others, and reworked their older songs. Great stuff.

Requiem by Opeth.
"A war is coming, I've seen it in my dreams. Fires sweeping through the earth, bodies in the streets, cities turned to dust. Retaliation..."

By feel heavy do you mean? Heavy like metal or tons of emotion?

Cause that song has the greatest solo ever and I'll have to assume you are reffering to emotion.
Soon you will sit on the bench
of those who deny I have my soul
You sell a dream you create
Condemned by what you condemned before
Smooth are the words you sing down and high
Underground is your joy your laws

Lots and lots of Tenacious D
All the Alice In Chains and Nirvana unplugged stuff
Daughter by Pearl Jam
Some Metallica
Some Radiohead.
Some Muse.
Some Queens of the Stone Age.

Et cetera.
I play by my own rules. And I have one rule; There are no rules... but if there are, they're there to be broken. Even this one.

Confused? Good.

Welcome Home or the Crowing by Coheed and Cambria. But emotion-wise, id say some live performances of Because I want You or Song to say Goodbye by Placebo.

Led Zeppelin-Babe I'm gonna leave you
The chorus is 100% headbangable.

(PS if u meant emotion, it's got plenty of that too)

The music feels heavy as a result of the emotion put into the guitar playing and singing.

a;lsghsdkjsad just because Opeth is a heavy band does not mean their acoustic music sounds or feels heavy. It's some of the most relaxed music I've ever heard. As far from heavy as it gets.

Agreed, but I just think that Requiem sounds evil = heavy.

Most Porcupine Tree stuff. Mainly because most of it is in D tuning.

The tuning has nothing to do with it. You could be playing a mandolin and singing, and still make it sound heavier than some kid playing a full step down.
