I was originally going to buy a Les Paul Starter Pack for 200 dollars but everyone said they were no good and should get each separately. So I am now going for and Ibanez RG321MH and a 100 dollar amp. Is it really worth it?

On a side note, which amp would you recommend?

yea it is worth it...it wont be near as fun with crappy equipment...try the VOX AD15VT or else orange makes little tiny amps i know...and i have no idea about the roland cube's price for their smallest amp

EDIT: not necessarily smallest amps but you know what i mean

For a little more money, a Roland Micro Cube. If your playing harder stuff, GREAT choice on the Ibanez.
