I'm looking to build my own guitar, and I saw the site www.warmoth.com Around the E.G. forum. Now im wondering, Is warmoth a good company to buy part from? Any reviews?

i hear there have realy nice stuff and everythings good with them but there said to be over priced, i dont have any first hand acconts tho sorry.

I played a used Warmoth Strat at Guitar Center last year. It was pretty decent. The skull & crossbones inlays were tacky and I didn't really like the compound radius fretboard, but the neck was comfortable. Quality was comparable to an American Fender.

personally, i would check out carvin.com if i was looking for a custom strat alternative.
