Ok, I'm just learning chords, and I'm wondering what is the easiest way to play this

part...

e1
B1
G0
D2
A3
E

of this verse..

e|-0-3-1-0--0-3-1-0--|
B|-1-1-1-1--1-1-1-1--|
G|-0-0-0-0--0-0-0-0--|
D|-2-2-2-2--2-2-2-2--|
A|-3-3-3-3--0-0-0-0--|
E|-------------------|

I'm talking fingering positions. Sorry if this is a stupid question, but getting the two 1's with my pointer finger isnt working for me.

I'd hold the C chord (first one of that verse), and use my pinky to play the third fret of the high E and then use your index finger to barre the first fret of both the High E and the B string for the third chord. Seemed to work for me after a few tries.

Edit: Also make sure you have your thumb on the middle of the back of the neck, I tried it with my thumb wrapped around the neck and I could not change to the barre of the first fret for the high e and the b strings.

Just use your pointer finger in the first fret. Put it over both the e and b string, it will probably feel uncomfortable as hell at first, so once you have it, try moving your elbow out and in.

Then obviously your index on the second fret, and ring on the third. Its just a tough chord to get used to.
