I was just wondering what I should use to clean my guitar and how to do it? Because I wasn't sure wether I could wreck it or damage it if I do it wrong.

what exactly do you want to clean? if you have a rosewood fretboard some lemon oil should do the trick. For general dust just any old rag will do.

buy guitar polish, or car polish on painted surfaces.

make sure your rag isnt too rough or ull leave swirl marks

yeah it depends on the quality of the guitar, some polishes can screw up the paint. whatever you get, test it on the back of the guitar first. i use fast fret for my fretboard but wipe the body down with the rag that comes with it before i use the fast fret on the fretboard

Polish wont clean it. I use an old t-shirt and rub the greasy marks off, then polish the cleaned surface.

Breathe on the guitar so it mists up then use a soft rag to get the grease off. After that you can use some polish to get it nice and shiny. Make sure its compatible with your finish though.

I like to use a microfiber cleaning cloth. You can get them pretty much anywhere, but if you do have trouble finding some, usually can find smaller ones at eyeglass stores.
