Does anyone know tabs for the stereotypical blues thing?

This isn't gonna work too well, but the "da DA, DA da" thing? When people say <words here> da Da, Da da, <more words> da DA, DA da, etc?

Sorry for the horrible explanation, by the way

It would usually look like this:

E-0-5-3-0-

on the low E.
Chords would be something like
E A G E (1 5 3 1)

I know what you mean,
I can play it on harmonica, but I haven't the time to get the notes sorry.

This is mostly likely correct.

You want to start with A string open index finger D string second fret this will be A
while playing this use your ring finger and alternately hit the D string 4th fret then move your index finger to the G string 2nd fret and hit the D string open this will be D again alternatley hitting G string 4th fret with ring finger Then move to E string open index finger A string 2nd fret this will be E again alternately hitting A string 4th fret
So it should look like this
x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x
x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x
x x x x 2 2 4 2 x x x x x x x x x x x x
2 2 4 2 0 0 0 0 2 2 4 2 x x x x 2 2 4 2
0 0 0 0 x x x x 0 0 0 0 2 2 4 2 0 0 0 0
x x x x x x x x x x x x 0 0 0 0 x x x x
A D A E A
This is the basic starting point there are several variations depending on how many times you sta at each chord some times you start with the A 4x the D 4x The E 2x then back to D 2x then to A Etc onve you get the pattern down you will be able to hear where the changes are in different songs.
You could also try adding the extra beat to each bar by doing
x x x x x x x x
2 2 4 2 5 2 4 2
0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0
Hope this helps

I think it's obvious that he's talking about the type of blues progression used in "Boom Boom". I wish everyone else would stop suggesting the Johnny B Goode riffs.
