ok so ive been on here for a while asking questions about my amp because it was acting really weird. i didnt get any responses other that i needed new tubes so i figured it couldnt be anything else. well my new tubes came in today and the amp is no different. it still makes a high pitch squeal when i turn the gain past about 6 or 7 and the clean channel is at one constant volume no matter what the knob is set to.

wtf?

Take it to a tech. The problem with the clean is probably that your pot is broken. I'm not sure about the high pitched squeal, though.

You could check the tubes again, recently a brand new, right out of the box blew the first time I ever used it.

If all of the tubes seem fine, I'd definatly take it to a tech.
