Hi. Recent events have forced me to use an old classical guitar i found in my cupboard. It really isnt that bad, but the action is horrible. Instead of the usual problem of the action been too high, its now too low. So this means that when i fret say, the 5th fret it my play the 7th or 6th. Its bugging the hell out of me. Is the only way to fix this make a new bridge saddle (not sure if thats the right term). Or are there other ways to quickly fix the problem.

thanks

Bump for shimming. Glue a strip of hardwood to the bottom of the saddle and sand it flush to the sides of the saddle. Then, adjust however you like.
