They are meant to be very nice and on the high end of Squires spectrum... Still a MIM strat is extremely nice and not that much in price difference, but try them both out you may surprise yourself.

I've never got round to playing one yet, but they look decent. Judging by the quality of some previous squier stuff (the Tele Custom II springs to mind), they'd easily equal a Mex fender as well. Have a go at both and see which one you prefer!
