Hello my friends,

I would like to know If an EQ can act as a replacement for a treble booster?

If I´m not mislead, the EQ can function as a treble, mid, or bass booster. Or not?

it can, but it won't react to ur picking dynamics/volume control like a treble booster.

OK! Thank you very much! And which do you think is the best model of treble boosters in the market at the time?

I live in Argentina jejeje so far away I think as i suppose you are from the USA!

Thank you very much all the same for your help!

Just set the EQ to a treble sound.

would they make a fender or other american voiced tube amp too harsh? Cause apparently they work wonders for Limey amps

not on my blues jr. though. when paired with a real middy amp (vox/marshall) it shines. but when paired with a fender voiced amp, it gives a distinctive vibe.

i prefer clean booster, maybe a fat boost, for a blues jr. a treble booster is not really tasty to me through a blues jr. it kinda gives billy gibbons vibe though. but boosters wear out the tubes a lot.

They do with my amps, although it can be improved quite a bit by EQing the right way.
