I LOVE THIS SONG, But really hate Pop/Hip Hop music:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3jzSh_MLNcY

I have no idea why either.

I think its because he is verging on the edge of having musical talent.

i hate it when people generalize like "i hate pop/rap/hip-hop"... have you listened to every artist? theres damn good music out there... just turn the radio off and you can find it. i dont really have much respect for kanye because he seems so self-centered, but his music is better than a lot of those overplayed-radio hip-hop artists.

I can listen to Atmosphere every so often,,,Slug is ten times the lyricist than any rapper on tv is.

Early Eminem stuff always gets me. I don't know why I like it so much but I just do! The Eminem Show and some other D-12 stuff is also good. I was a rap junkie in my early teens. Moved on since then.

Rap is actually pretty okay if you ask me, it's just certain artists put it to shame. E.g 'Soulja Boy'

Eminem was clever, undeniably. Even if you hate his kind of music, you cannot deny that he does have talent.

not unlike the way daft punk samples songs and adds their touch to it. based on your point daft punk has no musical talent either.

by the way, i'm a big fan of both daft punk and kanye.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uvb-1wjAtk4 ---- my favorite Kanye West song

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O3i6z2fnQZ4 ---- I'm not a big Eminem fan, but this is a great song

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zcNujMV-2iQ ---- I have been listening to rap for a long time, but I stopped for a while a few years ago. This song got me into listening to rap again. This is a great song.

I can respect that, It just seemed as if you were saying Daft Punk was better for being original.

yeah stronger is good
A few more of him are good too.
Also numb/encore I know linkin park plays in it but I actually like this version with Jay Z better than the original version.
Oh and I listen to 'let me clear my troath' kind of a lot to, makes me happy somehow
And furthermore I listen to some trance but not a lot
I kind of like everything actually

I hate kanye, it's weird. NWA and Dizee Rascal are probably the two I listen to the most. Then the collaborations between Dre, eminem and snoop dogg are good. Lil Jons stuff just makes me laugh but I still like it.
