Hey, might be getting this equalizer:

Behringer Ultragraph Pro FBQ1502 Equalizer.

But I was wondering if i Need a DI box to connect this or how would one connect this to your guitar? Just simple input then output straight into the amp or what? And also, is this worth buying?
Thx.

What's the big deal with Gibsons, anyway?
I've heard loads of Gibsons being played before
and they don't sound any more special than
any other guitar.

No, that's for a rack setup. I think what you're looking for is something different, because these don't work for an amp, these are designed for a PA system.

Here are some EQs that might be better suited. Or something like these...
Peavey HP Signature EXP (SH4 JB/ SH2 Jazz)
Jackson DK2M
Fender MIM Stratocaster HSS
Fender MiM Telecaster

EVH 5150 III w/ EVH 2x12 cab
Peavey Vypyr Tube 60
Fender Blues Jr.
