This thread is full of Marshal fanboys.
Including one who owns an MG.

But I haven't tried the Legacy cabs, so I have no idea.

Marshall cab comes with Celestion Greenback G12M speakers
Leagacy cab comes with Celestion Vin30
each speaker is different from each other, they are different voiced the greenbacks will give you a classic marshall sounding while the Vin30 will give you a more tight low end scooped lower midrange, it depends of what kind of sound you like, i suggest you to try both cabs first
I´d go with carvin because with marshall you are just paying for the name

I say take the carvin. Further down the line, you could swap out 2 of the V30s for something like G12T-75s or GH30s, to give you a better range of sounds.

Woah! Lets not forget about Avatar Cabs. http://avatarspeakers.com/

I have heard many good things about those. Not to mention they are easy on the wallet compared to Carvin and Marshall.
Gear:
Schecter C-1 BlackJack
Peavey 5150 II
Ibanez 25W "Tone Blaster"
Fender Starcaster (Not the vintage kind, the Wal-Mart Value kit kind"

If Dimebag22 was a pie, I would cover him with whipped cream and eat his insides...
