i have a jackson rx10d (the x series randy rhodes one) and i am wanting to replace the stock pickups with emg 81/85 or possibly 81/89 and i was wondering how much it would cost to get the back of the body cut to put in the battery. would a guitar shop do it for me, and is the afterburner worth putting a hole in for a extra switch.
please somewon aswer
Have you checked your control cavity if theres enough space for a battery? Most guitars have plenty of space. You won't get a battery case in there, but put some foam in to protect the components from battery leakage and just wire up the battery. No drilling necessary
