Not the chord, but just the low F# note itself.

I forgot, is that the pink or brown? If the latter, you need serious help.

It's in a bunch of cool songs (RHCP's Under The Bridge, and a lot of Pearl Jam stuff).

I was going for the lowest G powerchord on a standard tuned guitar, but I think I might prefer Steve's option. If neither of these is acceptable (because we could be pernickety about powerchords), I think I'll go for A minor.
I play by my own rules. And I have one rule; There are no rules... but if there are, they're there to be broken. Even this one.

Confused? Good.

Funny thing is, Aminor is a favorite of mine to fingerpick, like in the song "Luca" by Brand New.

no ****ing clue what it's called, because I'm dumb like that, but move that beast around the fretboard (Only works in that shape on the top 3 strings), preferably on the clean Channel. Doesn't quite sound right distorted. It is used in One by Metallica at the beginning (The solo-esque thing, after the actual intro, that starts around 34 seconds it's in the part right after the drums come in), To Bid You Farewell by Opeth in the Solo, and it is played out in the intro to Vigil by Lamb of God. Probably also used in counless other incidences, but those are the only ones I can think of right now. Also the open D string only works in that position, not moved around the fret board, just put it in there to make it sound a little fuller right there.

That's a chord of D minor.
