I need a pedal tuner. Prefereably one that mutes the sound when I tune, one that can go all over (so I can tune standard, or Eb, or full step down, etc.)

Also, no more than 100 bucks.

I was looking at those Fender ones that are liek 45 bucks, how bad are they??

Dunno damn all about the Fenders, but check out the Boss pedal - think its a TU-60.

Not sure how much they are over there though, but they're a good solid tuner!

Behringer's are like the cheapest pedal's u can buy. I got mine for $30 new. They're not bad, but they're plastic...but it's a tuner, so your probably not going to be stomping the living **** out of it anyway.

The Boss is the better pedal tho, if you're willing to pay the $100.

try a korg dt-10 tuner, i prefer it to the boss tu-2. however, they're both just as good really.

the fender tuner pedal is pretty nice.

I use it and it is very visible on a dark stage and also has that mute feature that is great.

Yeah I was just about to ask about that. Which is best, the planet waves, or boss?

I would say Boss. I think they seem a lot more durable, and the oens I've used were beat up and still worked great.

Has anyone yet to try the Ibanez LU20 Pedal Tuner?

It's being toted as a true-bypass but how would I know, I don't own it.

Is it me or does that look like it has a LOT of plastic on it?
#12
Now that you brought it to my attention, yes, it surely does look like plastic. Chock loads of it too.

Dig deep and try and find a Strobostomp, i see them go for around 120 used. much, much, much better than the Boss.

Ibanez LU-20. It's 40 bucks and true bypasss, and works fine and has the option of silencing the signal or not. It;s chromatic as well, so any tuning is possible

i dont like them for stage use. for intonating instruments is the only place they find use for me. the boss is still king for gigging.
