because I would play shows with it or I would record with them and all of the distorsions have diffrent sounds and what not

arg you fender loving bastards i will admit that fender guitars are good for some music genres but gibson has 1.) great pick ups 2.)they usually go higher than fender

you can't compare single coils to humbuckers. stevie ray vaughan would be nowhere without his strat but zakk wylde couldn't hit his unnecessary amount of pinch harmonics without his gibsons.
