anyone try these in person yet?
I'm looking to get the AC30 for the price, and simply because the low price of $40

sound samples on the vox site sound good to me but you never know until you try these things in person IMO.

I may just get one to have because they are so small and cute...
I'm a sucker for these mini type amps and it would be nice to have one like this to play on the road like for a trip...

edit:
Found a few reviews from SW:

Normally I would just stick the AC30 one on my Christmas list but i have a bunch of other things on there already

graphics card
TonePort UX1
Electric shaver
Sustain pedal for the keyboard

My parents are the type that would get me the AmPlug and leave out the TonePort which is what I really want and need for my studio haha

Haha, I went to that sweetwater link and couldn't stop laughing at those supposed help operators and how "douchy" they looked...

I've heard them before. It all depends on what guitar and headphones you're using really.

-MOTHER FU....!!!!

...that was the best part

As for the original thread, those little things look neat, but I wouldn't judge them too seriously, they are just novelties. I can't wait to see some of the reviews that bash them as if they are supposed to exceed all expectations
