I know we all love the classics like slayer, metallica and so on. But I wanna know who you think kicks a$$ today. I personally would have to go with Lamb of God I've seen them three times and they make everyone move and are musically amazing.. \m/

I'd love to see Exodus's new lineup live, as well as Necrophagist, Nile, Gojira, and Municipal Waste.

Kreator and Blind Guardian have put on the best shows.

Black Label Society 1st, then Lamb of God, Then Children of Bodom, and Dethklok.

Blind Guardian, Jag Panzer, Sonata Arctica are all I can think of that put on really good shows.

Unchallenged, the best live show I have ever witnessed was Amon Amarth. Few bands come close to their energy and atmosphere.
Dyer's Eve is awesome, and has an abnormally large penis, which doesn't act as any hinderance to his everyday life despite its freakishly large size.

Necrophagist and Decapitated deffinetly are great for brutal and technical death metal. The necrophagist drummer was doing some amazing drum solos on the summer slaughter tour.
Arsis is really fun live. they have a lot of energy.
Death Angel's pretty good too... they responded to an encore too which was cool and came back and played a few more songs.

Lamb Of God are really good Live.
I'll never forget when they played Walk With Me In Hell and willie was tapping the whole thing with one hand (except the solo). And the he drug on the solo for at least 2 1/2 minutes. It was pretty epic. Except i dont really remember the end. There was this one guy, He kicked me in the face during a windmill. It really hurt.

Indeed. All they did was stay in one position and play their songs in a trance like state.

The music sounds just like from the CD, but it's one hell of a boring performance.

Arsis has some sick energy, and Cattle Decapitation are F00king incredible when it comes to putting on a show.

Although LoG are blasphemous in this forum, I must also say that they put on one hell of a show as well.

I don't understand this... LoG aren't my favorite, but they're pretty metal. They're like a metal band with a metalcore/douchebag singer.

They've got good metal tone, sweet solos, and damn good drummer... they have all the necessary ingredients for metal, so what gives?

Have you attempted their songs? Not easy to play those riffs correctly and jump around.

Personally I'd love to hear it played than see some idiots jump around on stage.
