I'm pretty sure this hasnt been posted... I searched for it and didnt pop up....

But here's my issue,

Ok. straight forward tube amp is crackling and popping. Quick fix, swap tubes around.
I have a few different brands for the preamps... 2 peavy Super 7's and some chinas.
But my real question is, how to you know what preamp tube is what channel or loop? Like if i want to put a super 7 in an overdrive channel, How do i know where it is? Is there a code or indicators? Or just guess?

Btw i have a B-52 AT-100.

Please help i've googled and nothing.

Thanks in advance.

dont bump your thread after 4 fucking minutes, give it more time then that.

Some amps come with a chart, like Fenders. maybe browse online for a tube chart for yours?
