Stay away from Fender acoustics. There's better stuff out there in the price range.

well then you have a ton of options.

Epiphone Masterbuilt Series are all-solid wood guitars at mostly around $500

Walden's Natura and Supernatura series

Alvarez- RD20S, AD60S, AJ60S, etc.

Yamaha- FG730S

I'm sure there are a few I'm missing, but for under $600, you'd be hard-pressed to find something better. You may want to look at used guitars too as you can find some great deals.

Get a Tanglewood. Not too many people know about them in the States but they are the number one selling guitar in the UK. They sound great, look great and they are cheap. Plus they are a smaller company so you won't feel like a sellout like your buddies that are playing Fender's with their Fender T-shirts.

so are you definitely wanting an acoustic-electric? or do you want an acoustic? that guitar you posted is an acoustic-electric.
