I've heard they used JCM 900s. When I saw them a couple of weeks or so back I remember one of the guitarists was using a Dual Rectifier.

Oranges are actually a revolution though - they're the next step from Rectos IMO.

the roland microcube comes reasonable close to their sound on the recto setting with a little bit of reverb and the gain turned up
Jackson DKMG (EMG-HZ H4, Gain Switch)
Marshall MG100dfx Head
(Saving Up For A Marshal JCM2000 60 Watt TSL Tube Head)
Behringer BG412S Cabinet (400 watt)

doubt they could get one to sound that heavy.

hughes and kettner tri-amps, peavey 5150's and dual rectos are some of the amps they use/used.
they do have a pretty mean tone.
