try musician talk, theres loads of threads on the subject already.
and that sweep doesnt look particularly hard, just practice slow and build up speed.

k, didnt really know where to put it and beleive me, when ur fingers have to be stretched to reach that fret its kinda hard..=(

Just play it over and over and over. Lift your finger off the lower strings too or you'll get those notes still playing and it will sound crappy.

I started learning sweeps like that on one day, without trying it before, and it worked. :p

Ibanez RGR320 with Lo-Edge Pro bridge and scalloped fretboard

Check out some video lessons on YouTube or some of the lessons here on U-G. Remember to start playing slowly, and focus on playing it as cleanly as possible.

I would honestly tap the 22nd fret.

Jackson Pro Series DK2 Dinky (Eerie Dess Swirl)

i normally dont have any problem with a stretch like that when its so high up the neck. just keep at it and your hands will manage.
try some solos with large stretches in them like cowboys from hell or some bits of scarified (even if not to full speed just to get used to stretching)

I don't think the TS has problems with a three fret stretch that far up the neck (unless he's four years old), he has problems with the sweeping technique.
TS, here's a way to sweep it
--------19-22-19----
o----18-----------18o
--17-----------------
----------------------
o-------------------o
----------------------
 d d d h p u

d=downstroke
h=hammer on
p=pull off
u=upstroke
as I said earlier in the thread, you should watch some video lessons, that ought to clear things up a little more.

yeah, its not a difficult sweep.
but a good idea would be to learn arpegios and play them slowly, and gradually gain speed until you can do it like no problem
