my friends dad let me bring this to my next guitar lesson at the local store

he got it a while ago, most likely early 80s, around then, mabye late 70s

it works with an ac adaptor, but not with a battery, hopefully the store can fix it.

it looks like this, but i know its not the reissue

Ibanez Jem 777BK, Carvin DC727, Fender MIM Strat
Mesa Boogie DC5
Xotic BB Preamp, Ts9, BBE GS, Boss DD-6
Weber Mass
Morley Bad Horsie 2
Ask me any questions about my gear!
take a pic. if it's early 80s, it's original.

If I remember right, the originals have a TM or R symbol after the Ibanez logo, and the reissues do not. But yeah, a picture would help.

It should say "Maxon" on the circuit board. You might be able to find some sort of date code as well. Just do some research about dating these things.
