How do you tune a step down? or 1/2 step down for that matter?
I use a capo to tune to higher keys, but I'm at a total loss as to how to tune to a lower key.
Can anyone help me out?
Thanks a lot; I really appreciate it.

Dude, you already have the capo just put it behind the nut and it lowers everything.

Very simple.

If you are in standard tuning place your finger on the Low E 4th fret then tune your A string open to that note. then put your finger on low E 5th fret and tune it to your open A string
once you have done that just tune the other strings like normal that will tune you down a 1/2 step
YA GOTTA HIT IT ON THE ONE

Just an edit to my previous post .
To do it the way I have described you need to be able to do it by ear not with a tuner.
And if you want to go a whole step down it is the same process except you start on low E string 3rd fret.
