and have this Epiphone Thunderbird IV.
So I was thinking, what if I made this Thunderbird fret less and added new pickups
[which would be the Gibson Thunderbird pickups]!

I already fixed the neck dive.
so.
what do you all think?

it would become a fretless thunderbird with new pickups, your more making a statement than asking a question "shrugs".

there are already a few fretless threads

and besides you can get much better than gibson tbird pickups

or instead of wasting time on crap bass, go buy a better bass

new pickups will completely alter the sound.

If you like the feel of the neck it's definitely worth it. If not then it's not. Also make sure you have another bass that is fretted because even if you do love the fretless you're going to want something fretted for playing most things.
