Okay i just closed down the last thread so heres the more concise question:

I need to determine resolution of a sensor/my results

The multimeter that was used to record voltage across a rotary pot was accurate to +/- 0.005 volts.

Now how do i change this into resolution? Or is that the resolution?

^is it possible to find an answer that you can't get?????? que?

I just said the resolution IS the 0.005 thing from the multi-meter as the resolution is the measuring capacity

im pretty sure you asked a question that no one on UG knew the answer to, and no one even had an idea of what you were talking about.

congrats on dumbfounding everyone with random randomness.

The resolution is the smallest amount of change the sensor can detect, so yea, the resolution would be 0.005
