Save up for a proper amp instead, assuming they're for the Xiphos it already has the ideal pickups for your style.

MG's for the lose. Why do they make them in half stack (and above?!) sizes.

My old Fender Frontman 15g was way better than an "effects" 30 watt MG my mate bought.
