So im starting an industrial/Techno type project.

And all i have to record with is my computer and i Keyboard.

What programs, cables, and other instruments are needed and reccomended to make a nice sound?

I currently have Acid 6.0 and a Fruity Loops 7.0 Demo.

The software you currently have is a good start. I've only experimented with more electronic type stuff and not techno.

If you're real serious you might want to invest in a mixer/sampler. I would buy a Roland mc-909 if I had the cash to spare.

A midi box that has an USB output and a midi cable for the keyboard would do the trick.

You can normally get a decent set of midi sounds from a VST instrument pack that you can download ans should be able to install in fruity loops or the like. Better option is to get an actual midi box that also does midi instruments. Heck, you could just get by with a decent recording program and a midi soundpack installed, just clicking in the notes over playing them in through a keyboard.
O.K.
