Yo UG,
I have to write a piece for my music course which involves Mexican style music, I was wondering if anybody can direct me towards a key which is good for spanishy sounding stuff?
And if possible a diagram on the scale, I'm still new to the whole musical side of stuff.
Thanks
Terry

yes phrygian goes something lke this (hope this works)

e|---|-X-|---|-X-|---|-X-|
B|---|-X-|---|-X-|---|-X-|
G|-X-|---|-X-|---|-X-|---|
D|-X-|---|-X-|-X-|---|---|
A|-X-|---|-X-|-X-|---|---|
E|-X*|-X-|---|-X-|---|---|

* This is the first measure so if this was the 5th fret u would be playing A phrygian

Phygrian is the 3rd mode of the major scale so for example E phrugian would be in the Cmaj scale
