It retails here at 1,299 Euro but got it for 845 Euro.
Its my first Tube/Valve amp and there's loads of switches and things on it.

Any help with starting it up properly etc?

And am having trouble finding a classic rock tone. Can anyone give some suggestions. Had a nice tone in the store but I forget it .

guys, I haven't tried the Classic yet, but I wanna know....paired with a ProCo RAT or another high-gain distortion pedal, can this amp produce a metal-ish tone? The first tube amp I'm buying I want it to have sparkling cleans but I wanna make sure I can add to it to make it play any style really....thanks

The peavey classic can do anything according to your pedals.
That's whats so great about it.
A good od will be able to push it into metal territory.

Cheers for the replies guys.

Am having fun with this amp now, setting it up and finding my tone. Too afraid to have it too loud lol.
