the Les Paul, I guess. Or the Randy Rhoads.

I'm not a big fan of signatures. Because guitar is a personal thing, I don't want to play something tailored for someone else. They're also all overpriced.

And besides that, I don't really like that many sig guitars, feature wise.

I would never buy one, but my favorites would have to be the ESP Kirk Hammet sigs, the ESP Alexi sigs (the ones over in Japan are cooler) but only for looks, Dean Razorbacks (if you consider those sigs)... that's all I can think of.

I wouldn't call them very pretty, but yes he does have a signature line.

The best looking one is probably the JEM and PGM but the best signature guitar you could get for the money are probably the Music Man John Petrucci signature or the ESP/LTD-Ninja or even the ESP Alexi, at least thats my opinion.

- Fender Richie Sambora signature stratocaster. Never played a nicer strat.

- All of Gibson and Epiphone's Joe Perry signatures (Epi boneyard, Gibson boneyard, Gibson translucent black burst). I've never played a nicer Gibson than those (shame they cost several thousand), and the Epi one isn't bad too (in fact I ended up buying one, because frankly for £600~ I've yet to find a nicer LP from any brand, excluding mod-jobs). They're far from perfect, but all three are also far better than the usual signature guitar standard of "same as the normal guitar just with the guy's name on the headstock and one of the pickups slightly overwound" (which seems to be the trend for 99% of signature guitars).

However, the absolute best would be the Kramer Jersey Star. It's technically not a signature since Richie Sambora stopped endorsing them many years ago, but it's made directly after his own custom shop guitars, and is essentially exactly the same as his signature guitar series was, only plus a few upgrades in fact. It's the single, end-all nicest guitar I've ever played, and worth four times what they actually cost.
