Ok So I Was Playing My Guitar Amp At Home One Morning and it worked Perfectly, Its a Ashdown Fallen Angel 212 Combo Amp.

My Friend Called Me And said were were going to practice for a local gig. So I Loaded my amp and all of my acessories. And Drove to my Friends house.

It started raining on the way there so i called him to see if were were still practicing. He said no. ( we practice outside )

So I Turned the car around went back home, And Set everything back up.

To My Horror the amp would no longer turn on. The Led's wont even turn on. Its just dead.

Does anyone have any idead ? Maybe a blown fuse ?

You started to capitalize every word, stopped halfway through then picked it up again. proof that it is a conscious effort you got tired of doing. sicko.

If nothing i turned on then it's most likely the fuse in the plug, or the fuse in the amp

Any idea where these fuses are located ?

What confuses me is the fact that it worked , then one hour later it didnt.

Is this typical of a blown fuse ?

Thanks for helping by the way

Ive played it outide before..

Not on this particular day. We were going to but it Started raining.

The amp Was never in the rain if thats what your getting at.

nothign wrong with playing it outside if it stays dry. the fuse should be located just under where you put the kettle plug into. you NEED to replace it with a fuse of the same rating

First of all, I enjoy deathcore for it's complexity and it's the only genre heavy enough for me

I want an amp good for playing hippie tunes. I want it to be an actual amp, not a tube amp.

Is it possible for the Tubes to have blown out ?

It is Plugged in, And it doesnt do anything. It basically looks as if the power is turned off.

if the tubes had blown then it should still turn on. I think.

Best take it to a amp tech, if its the fuse well then they'll switch it out there and then cheap, if it's something much worse well then at least you'll know what went wrong and still have the option to have it repaired.

But my money is on the fuse. If you have another kettle plug, try it, if not then replace the fuse inside it with that from another plug in your house with a matching ampere rating and see if that works. If so then it's a 20 cent/pence job to fix. If it still doesnt work it'll be the amps fuse

All Right, Thanks For all Your Help Guys.

I Installed A New Fuse this morning and the AMp Works like a charm.

Now My Question is.. Why Did The Fuse Blow ? Is There Something Wrong With My Amp Internally ?
#13
If it does it again its probably something wrong with your amp. Fuses do go occasionally though, could just have been a power spike.

and you get ripped off if you pay that...dude, if its the fuse, buy a new one for a couple of bucks (or cents even) and shove it in there yourself
