same wood used for the body. probably the same neck. you're going to put in EMG if doesn't have them already.

Considering the DKMG is MIJ, and the V is MII, that's a big difference in quality.

I can guarantee the trem on the V will crap out in a couple of months as well.

Wrong. X series have basswood bodies, MG and Pro series have Alder, and while the fretboard radius is the same, the necks are slightly different. That said, I think the MGs profile is a bit nicer, and it has a far better trem to boot.

Edit: The X series are made in Japan too. Educate yourself before commenting people.
