yeah it's fine for sweeps and whatnot, good upper fret access, but the neck's pretty heavy so when you're playing stood up the whole guitar kind of leans right over to the left. nice though.

thanks a lot. I'm new to the whole sweeping thing and its kinda hard on my les paul so I thought I would try this guitar out.

Yeah in my experience les pauls aren't that great for sweeping, I find the neck a little too slow for my liking. Actually seeing as the EX400 is completely mahogany it shouldn't lean much at all, I've only played the EX260 which is made of agathis (lol) and that leaned like hell, sorry about that, I forgot it was a 260.
