I bought a VK 112 about 2 weeks ago. When I play a low note on clean, there seems to be a rattling type noise that resonants from the amp. It almost sounds like a hiss coming from inside Also, at high volumes, it sounds like the speaker flutters when playing low notes on clean.

Does the speaker take a bit to "break in", or could I possibly have a problem here?

Its not terribly noticeable, I am just picky about these types of things. Thanks guys.

Check and see if there is anything loose. Play a low note on clean and stand in back. Now the reverb pan is supposed to be loose. It may be needing speaker break-in, or could be a preamp tube filament rattling. Check the preamp tubes. Unplug and after the tubes cool make sure they are firmly seated. You are under warranty so they should replace the tube free if needed. Make sure the speaker is bolted firmly to the baffle. Also listen for chassis rattle. Combos are bad about that.
