Are these good amps, for playing blues/classic rock. I just want to play in my room.

I suppose so, though I'd go for an Epi Valve Junior instead since it's about five times better, tone-wise! There's a cheaper but near-identical rebranded version called the Harley Benton GA5 which is an absolute belter for under 70 quid....

Bear in mind for heavier stuff you'll probably want a cheap overdrive pedal too - the Digitech Bad Monkey is a decent choice, but if money's tight the Behringer 'Vintage Tube Overdrive' will do the job fine.

that is the amp i am looking at. it is going for so cheap, and i only have a budget of $100

how much should i pay for this? http://cgi.ebay.com/Epiphone-Valve-Junior-Class-A-tube-guitar-amp-combo_W0QQitemZ140175970488QQihZ004QQcategoryZ10171QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

it is the older version, so the hum will be there, and the epi logo is gone
