hey, so ive read a few comments on how an ac30 can really shine with a treble booster.. but is the difference really that big? thanks, dave

Do you have any idea what your talking about? Because i can't understand half of what your saying and i think you are possibly clinically insane

Clapton's Beano tone
Rory Gallagher's main tone
Brian May's main tone

all came from the same amp with a treble booster. and they're all godly.

want me to make u one?

I'm still broke after impulse-buying my AC30
But once I have the money I'll definitely think about it. I really need to try a treble booster out in person just to make sure it's for me though

it doesn't work the same. EQ pedals tend to add harshness into your sound. Treble booster is actually a "high mids" booster, which is very sweet with an AC30. it fattens up the sound to achieve the ultimate brit master.

i have a pic of a bad one (my third build ever) in my profile. ones i make now come on a board so it'd be cleaner.

but that one was point-to-point, which made it vintage-y hahaha.
