it kind of depends on how i pick the string. i checked the neck curvature with the 1st/24th fret deal and its about 1.5mm at the 9th. but i don't think that issues above the 12th can be addressed by truss rod adjustment. i could clear this up by raising the bridge, but that would make the action too high across the whole fretboard.
is it just a matter of refining/improving technique?
if the buzz appears on each string you should losen the truss rod
if its only one string and your bridge can be risen for each string you should do that. on my 2nd ibanez with SAT30 trem i did that as i had the same problem a few days ago....

Most buzz problems anymore are just uneven frets. Only the expensive guitars get any kind of fret leveling anymore.
