Okay, so, I was listenting to the Dyna Comp clips on MF and really liked the sound, but I don't know what it actually does. Like, I know it cuts the highs and boosts the lows so they are equal and that adds more sustain, but what would you use it for?? Like just to add sustain? What else?

THanks.
HEY
Do you like anime/manga?
PM me about buying the graphic novels I'm trying to sell

Basically a compressor squashes the frequencies and cuts off the very high and very low ones adds alot of sustain, but it kills dynamics

It doesn't cut anything off as far as I know, it just boosts the quiet sounds and lowers the loud sounds, so to say. It does hurt dynamics tho.
