Okay so I found a deal on the Mesa Boogie Studio 22+ Combo...anyone tried it/own it?

I play mainly power metal and melodic death metal..so not too much mids in my tone (well like Dragonforce tone or Sonata Arcticaish...kind of a mix to make my own )

EDIT: I'd also play smaller live stuff..like talent shows..and the power metal band im joining is going to do recordings and hopefully get gigs...so i'd want to use this amp if i could. would it be possible?

Try to see if you can get a "deal" on a mark IV

well mark IV used is over 1000$. budget is like 600-700...and the amp is 700$. I tried to get an extra 150$ to spend for an F-50 but asian parents........

There was already a thread on this amp today, go a few pages back and you should have some answers.

I've had tube amps for a while now, but never actually had any go down on me

maybe you're not saying the right things? an amp likes to know you care.
