hey guys,
Looking to get a 3rd guitar which i can use for downtuned metal. C standard is the absolute lowest i'll go so no need for baritone. This guitar kept in dropped c and changed to what i need it from there. At the moment I have an epi sg g400 and a squire bullet strat. I would like it to be under $650 australian and I have no problems going second hand. I play mainly machine head, in flames, arch enemy, devildriver, all the remains, shadows fall and yer so mainly melo death and trash. I would like something with a shred-worthy neck to.

ibanez s470 or s520ex

the wizard II neck is really fast and the shape and weight of the guitars is amazing. replace the bridge PU and you'll be happy forever

if you dont need a trem go look at the Ibanez SZ models, little cheaper, same features and beautiful instruments

He can't order from there.

Take a look at the Washburn WI64.

^I'd let a pro look at it. Once you get into the technicalities of screws...well, it's just a place you don't want to be, friend.

I suggest you dont get one with a Locking floyd rose style trem, ..because metal can have lots of differnt tuning. If you buy one with a Floating dual locking trem you'll be stuck in one tuning. And then when you do change tunings you have to re-balance the trem, which can take a while.
