My Peavey Valveking doesn't have a DI out, whereas my bandmate's JCM900 does.

It would be useful to use it for putting to the PA, so the drummer can hear us.

Is it an easy mod to make?
What would it involve?

Many thanks in advance.

PA's usually have seperate monitor sends, so if you're getting miked you don't need a DI.

However, all you gotta do is get a DI box and run it either before your amp or in your fx loop. No point trying to build it in.

thats it! You do get some awesome sounding di boxes what wont break the bank.
my personal Fav is the H&k redbox i think it costs around $80 in the U.S it has some awesome cabinet emulators what work great through your fx loop. i use it in conjunction with a microphone when i play live makes you sound BIG!
