Queens of the Stone Age (not really metal however)

This is a site for musicians and you're all crying about the sad state of rock? Fuck that. I'm going to practice more and take over radio. I advise you all to do the same.

well that's just standard tuning dropped 2 steps. enharmonically equating a# and d# to be bflat and eflat means they'd prolly usually play in c minor, but honestly, im not too familiar with bands and their tunings, especially down 2 steps

Novembers Doom, The Arcacia Strain, Pig Destroyer and Soil (on a couple of songs) drop the bottom string down to Bb.

In Flames do that on a number of songs. Queens Of The Stone Age, Arch Enemy, Katatonia's new stuff is in C.
