g400?

I think they go 250 new but if you like it no doubt go for it, if you end up not liking it, you could probally make money on ebay with it.

I'd go for it, they're pretty nice guitars and for 150$ they turn into great guitars!

I have never liked Epi. They are worthless in my opinion.

Now a Gibson?

Unless they let the pitbull chew on it, I'd give it a go.

The lower end Epi's are crap.
The lower end Gibson's are mostly not worth it.

The Epiphone Elitists give some of the midrange and even higher non custom shop Gibbys a run for their money.
And the higher end normal Epiphones are still worth the money, and make for a decent contender in their price bracket.

Your opinion seems a little unfounded.

Epis are good.

I have one (the goth SG) and its a fine guitar other than some wiring problems I had when I first got it.

Thin necks make you play faster because guitars with thin necks sound thin and bad, and you play fast to distract people from the bad tone.

ive seen goths for $150.

id only buy one if i needed a starter guitar.

if u've got starters, keep saving for better.

Jenny needs to sow her wild oats with random Gibsons and Taylors she picks up in bars before she settles down with a PRS.
