Alright so I think my roommate's using my computer... dunno why he would be anyways if he obviously I want him to stop :P (no I don't have anything bad on it but still I don't like the idea of someone reading my email etc...)

So... one reason I think this is that a couple times when I come back from wherever my computer looks like it's been restarted and stuff. Today for example this happened.

Is there any way to see a "log" or something to see if there has been ANY activity (mouse clicks etc...) on the computer during a certain period? Thanks

You can download software to track all movements made on the PC. I think VNC can do that, and there's a program on the latest PC Pro DVD that can, called BB Flashback Express.

You could always set a keylogger on your own computer, and find out any websites visited/words typed on your computer.

So there's nothing I can get that can find out stuff that's happened already (i.e. like today?)

You just said that ^

Did you look through your history and temp files?

EDIT: I know it can be deleted... but maybe he didn't delete it.

Other than web browser history.....nope
Most people dont delete the history so you should be able to see if he was on.

Set your password up for now so he cant use it.

1. Create folder labeled "Jessica Alba nude"
2. Download the Rickroll'd video.
3. Turn your volume up very loud.
4. Place the video in the folder and name it "jessicaalba_1"
5. Find can of Grade-A Whoop-Ass
6. Pretend to leave.
7. Roommate goes on computer.
8. Rickroll'd blasts loudly.
9. Aim can of Grade-A Whoop-Ass at roommate.
10. Open can.

This will probably get him to stop touching your ****, too.
Life is underrated.

I was gonna say that (the rick roll part)

You could get that clear hand sanitizer and squirt some on your keyboard... He won't touch your computer.

Right click my computer>manage>event viewer. Look for things like media player started or whatever. Check your internet history and temp files.

Though to me, it sounds like your PC is either going into hibernation, you are getting power spikes or your motherboard may have a fault.

Check your power settings in the control panel, check the event logs .
