I play in a post rock band and for a while ive used 11s on my 72 telecaster deluxe which i run through a vox ad120vtx combo, but im considering moving to 10s. If you play post rock what gauge do you think is best, and what do you think would be better 11s or 10s? Also consider we do play kind of heavy stuff sometimes.

strings make very little impact on your sound dude, if your comfy with them and they hold their tuning thats fine
Gear:
Dean Razorback V 255 (explosion finish)
Jackson KX10 (amber sunburst)
Yamaha ERG121

its all preference. my friend likes to use 9's, but they feel to flimsy to me or something. i use 11s because i like having thicker strings for chugging chords and such, and i find my leads sounding a little thicker

When you crank up the gain to 10 and switch to the lead channel, it actually sounds like you are unjustifiably bombing an innocent foreign land.
